How to Make Vegan Cheese “Parmesan Vegan Cheese”

This vegan cheese recipe “trance-forms” yet another dairy-based favorite into its plant-based counterpart. Take it from an Italian woman who has decided to eliminate and/or limit the amount of dairy in her diet.

This recipe is not just a healthy substitute for Parmesan cheese, but it’s an actual “rival” when it comes to health, taste and satisfying flavors.

 

How to make Vegan Cheese:

Ingredients:
1 cup nutritional yeast
1 cup walnuts “nut or seed of your choice”
1 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
Add dried spices of your choice “optional”

Instructions:
Put nutritional yeast into blender first, then walnuts, salt and spice of your choice if desired. Blend for about 10 seconds. Do not blend to much or it will clump together.

Stir this vegan cheese into your steamed veggies, grains or potatoes; sprinkle it over your salads; mix it into your ground meat or veggie burgers; use it for a base to get that creamy “cheesy” flavor and texture in your sauces. It’s so addicting, you may want to eat it straight out of the jar…!
