How to use Subliminal Hypnosis to Succeed
I’d like to share my own back story of how I applied observation, study and research to satisfy my curiosity and fascination with subliminal hypnosis.
It all started with movies and watching actors playing the part of going under some sort of spell, appearing to be controlled by another actor.
Then I’d read or see real news stories of people being put into some sort of trance, seeming to lose all inhibitions and made to do silly and not so silly things. I was both hooked and reeled in at the same time. I had to see for myself if it was real and if it was even safe. Thanks to the Hollywood versions, it was a little scary, too.
I was taught early in life that the best way to conquer fear is to face the fear… that is, to learn more about the things that can scare us. So, I devoured every book I could that taught me what hypnosis is and isn’t and how it can be a powerful tool to help heal. That was key for me. I had a passion to understand and to help others heal.
So, in 2003, I enrolled in a Professional Hypnosis program to learn how to apply this tool on myself and others. With every experience I had, my fascination grew, until I realized I could introduce some of the principles in the classroom to help students accelerate learning.
So what is subliminal hypnosis?
I know you all have online access to do your own study and research, but let me quickly start by reading the definitions assigned to hypnosis, trance and the Alpha state of mind, and see if I can help address some of your own curiosities and questions.
Definition of Hypnosis:
A trancelike state that resembles but is induced by a person whose suggestions are readily accepted by the subject.
Definition of Trance:
A sleep-like state (as of deep hypnosis) usually characterized by partly suspended animation with diminished or absent sensory and motor activity.
In my very first training on hypnosis I learned we have all been hypnotized as children by our parents, and if you are a parent you have become the hypnotist. Other examples include road hypnosis which affects everyone who drives on a regular basis, video games, politics, etc.
Many people go through their entire life not even aware that they are being influenced and controlled by subliminal hypnosis. Essentially…we are all hypnotized in some way, shape, or form; and it’s up to you and me to take control and decide who is allowed to influence us on a subconscious level. This awareness can make a drastic difference on what we achieve in life.
I came across a program called Subliminal Power that installs on your computer and flashes affirmations to help program your mind to focus only on what you really desire to achieve.
After watching this video on how to use subliminal hypnosis to succeed, I hope you feel more confident to reprogram your own mind to focus on the things you desire to achieve.
